About Me

Hi I’m Oliver Liang, currently living in Toronto Ontario as an engineering student at the University of Toronto. I’m majoring in the infrastructure option of the Engineering Science program.

For the past few years, I have worked various positions and class projects in developing my professional skills and experience. My latest internship was at Infrastructure Ontario being a project coordinator, working on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. And in the prior internship, I worked in research and development at Blackberry, evaluating various pedestrian location system. And on my first internship, I was a tier 2 customer care and technical phone support technician also working at Blackberry.

Much of my technical strengths lie in 2D\3D CAD modeling and simulation. I have participated in several CAD competitions around the Halton region, and have come in the top 3 numerous times. Additionally, I have significant experience in web development, as I am an auxiliary web developer for the University of Toronto Engineering Society.

In my spare time, I like to go bouldering, play tennis, and take pictures. I specialize in doing HDR panoramas of cities. I post much of my work on my Flickr page and you can purchase them on 500px.

Although I have studied for so long, there is still much to learn, and I will focus my next few years to become a great engineer.
